Key identification features : A large evergreen tree with a spreading crown, either planted or self-sown. Leaves are compound and the leaflets are somewhat oblique with toothed margin. Flowers are small (0.5 cm.), white and borne on drooping branched inflorescence. Fruit is about 1.5 cm. long, single-seeded and green, yellowish when ripe. Seed is enclosed in a hard shell, outer pulp and skin. Bark brown and longitudinally fissured.
