  • Key identification features : A small tree. Branchlets are terete, slightly quadrangular below nodes. Leaves are opposite-deccusate, elliptic-ovate, dark green, glabrous above and yellowish on drying. Flowers are blue in compact, sessile fascicles and fragrant. Berry is globose or ovoid, pale green to yellow when young, 7 mm across, wrinkled-yellow when ripe.
