  • Key identification features : A moderate size evergreen shrub. Branchlets is 4-angled. Petiole is densely clothed with acute, serrulate scales. Leaves are oblong-lanceolate, often amplexicaule, 3-5 nerved at base. Strigose above with appressed thick hairs. Flower is pale blue to pink, small, slender with pedicel in 10 to many umbels. Calyx campanulate. Fruit is a globose berry.
