  • Key identification features : Moderate herbs, with hairy branchlets. Leaves are ovate-lanceolate, 5-nerved from base with nerves impressed above and covered with stellate hairs beneath. Flowers are axillary or in terminal clusters. Epicalyx 4-segmented. Calyx is stellately hairy on the outside. Petals are yellow, obliquely obovate and emarginate at the apex. Staminal column truncate. Ovary globose. Mericaprs with 10-12 seeds.
