- Key identification features : A small perennial undershrub with heart-shaped, soft-haired leaves. Leaves are orbicular-ovate, often shallowly 3-lobed, crenate to dentate. Flowers 2 to 3 cm. across. Calyx are much shorter than the petals. Fruit splits into several one-seeded bits called mericarps.
