Key identification features : A large evergreen tropical tree. Leaves are alternate and simple. Margin is entire and wavy. Apex is more or less drawn-out. Flowers are solitary, showy and fragrant. Fruit is an aggregate of follicles. Bark is pale-grey and longitudinally furrowed.
