  • Key identification features : An erect slender herb, sometimes creeping with 4-angled stem. Leaves are decussate, lanceolate to oblong, with rounded apex. Flowers are small sessile either single or in groups of few. Calyx campanulate and 5-lobed. Petals are 5 or rarely 6, 2-3 mm. long and pinnately divided into linear segments. Fruit is elongate-ellipsoid.
