  • Key identification features : A large semi-evergreen tree with spreading crown. Leaves are simple and clustered at the end of short branches. Flowers are fragnant and large, showy, strongly scented with six fleshy perianth lobes. Flowers are borne on a long, woody inflorescence that emerge from the main stem and older branches. Stamens are many and fused. Fruits are like a cannon-ball sized emitting unpleasent odour on ripening.
