  • Key identification features : A moderate to large-sized evergreen tree, grows up to 30 m. Bark is brown and corky. Leaves are simple, alternate, ovate-lanceolate, acute or obtuse and shiny. Flowers are small, greenish yellow, in subterminal spikes. Fruits are globose drupes, about 2 cm in diameter. Contain a single round seed.
