- Key identification features : Is a small size much-branched evergreen tree. Young branches are covered with short rusty hairs. Leaves are simple, ovate-lanceolate and strongly three-nerved with minute glands underneath. Flowers are unisexual, male and female flowers occurring on different trees in terminal elongate inflorescences. Male floweers are clustered whereas the female flowers are solitary. Fruit is a three-lobed orange-red small capsule.
