Leaves orbicular, large, acuminate at apex, glandular pubescent beneath. Flowers concealed by bracts. Bracts sessile, broadly ovate, without apical gland. Calyx valvate, spiltting open into 2-3 lobes. Ovary globose, bilocular, style lateral.
