Leaves are simple, ovate or orbicular,cordate, margin irregularly crenate-serrate with stalked glands, scabrous above and stellate tomentose beneath, 3-5 ribbed. Inflorescence a raceme, stellate tomentose, with flowers in fascicles. Ovary covered with stellate scales, Fruit is capsule, globose or oblong.
