  • Key identification features : An infrequent native tree. Leaves are opposite, simple with characteristic wavy margin and curved tip; drying black or reddish-brown. The greenish-white, small (less than 0.5 cm.) flowers are borne on delicate, dichotomously branched inflorescence. Fruit is a two-seeded drupe. Bark grey-brown, rough and warty.
